| Nov. 23 | Join the US Veterans MC, Blue Star Mom's and Soldiers Angles as they Welcome Home LCpl William Fitzpatrick, a Local Marine from his 3rd deployment. After a Welcome Home Ceremony by the Town of Islips Hometown Hero Program there will be a motorcycle escort to his Coram residence. | Nov. 7- 21 | Come join Nency at The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum The Dignity Memorial® Vietnam Wall from November 7-21, 2011 as it comes to Manhattan for the first time ever. | August 20 | Come out and join Nency and runners from around the world and participate in the 5k Run/Walk Run For The Fallen remembering our Service members. In June, 2008, a dedicated team of runners ran across America from Fort Irwin, CA to Arlington National Cemetery, one mile for every Soldier, Sailor, Airmen, and Marine fallen in Operation Iraqi Freedom. For ten weeks, team members marked each mile with an American flag and in remembrance of each service member. |

Come out for an exciting day and join Nency at the NYC Triathalon! Come cheer and motivate over 3,000 athletes brave the waters of the mighty Hudson River before biking along Manhattan's West Side highway and then put on their running shoes for a run through New York's famed Central Park. The Nautica New York City Triathlon is an Olympic Distance race consisting of a 1500m swim, a 40k bike, and a 10k run. www.nyctri.com And for those animal lovers, come cheer at both human & canine at the Doggy Dash. | May 5 | Nency Attended and met Mr. Luis Carlos Montalvan and his service dog Tuesday at their kick-off book tour, Until Tuesday at the Animazing Gallery in NYC. This is an incredible story about the role service dogs are playing in helping new vets make the transition home - a very inspiring event. |

This year, The Humane Society of The United States will be there to help draw attention to the impact of the financial crisis on our furry friends and the organizations that are trying to protect them. |
